Lady Canes fall at Heritage-Catoosa

The Cartersville girls soccer team was shutout at Heritage-Catoosa Tuesday night 2-0. Following a scoreless first half, the host Lady Generals scored twice in the second stanza and improved to 5-1 on the season. "We really never settled into the game," said Lady Canes coach Chad Murray. "They executed the fundamentals better than we did and took advantage of opportunities."

Cartersville (4-3-1) will look to bounce back Friday when the Lady Canes host Cass at 5:30 p.m.
