Lady Canes gymnastics third at Westminster meet

The Cartersville High School varsity gymnastics team placed third overall at their first meet of the 2021 season Wednesday at Westminster in Atlanta.

The host Wildcats won the meet with 102.95 points. Cartersville finished with 57.15 points.

Annaston Wilson and Karley Garrison represented the Cartersville varsity with Garrison placing second in the individual all-around against 15 varsity competitors. Garrison was also third on Floor Exercise and third on Balance Beam.

In the JV competition, Elizabeth Hardy was first on Beam and second on Floor and Vault.

The Cartersville team is in action again next Wednesday at Pace Academy.
