Lady Chargers swept by Chattanooga State

Georgia Highlands College softball lost both games of a home doubleheader Wednesday, falling to Chattanooga State 7-0 and 11-2.
The wins by the Tigers completed a four-game, home-and-home sweep this week over the Chargers.
Chatt State pitchers limited Georgia Highlands to only five hits in the doubleheader.
Avrey Fisher had two hits including a double and one RBI. Ally Graden (double, RBI), Haylee Dishmon, and Cailey Barnett (double) added one hit on the day.
Grace Kendrick suffered the Game 1 pitching loss. Jaycee Hand was the pitching loser in Game 2. Hayden Joyner worked three scoreless innings in the circle in Game 1.
Chattanooga State improved to 37-11 for the season.
Georgia Highlands (14-31) hosts a conference doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Gordon State College.
