Lady Chargers take two at Andrew College

Georgia Highlands College softball swept a conference doubleheader at Andrew College on Thursday. The Lady Chargers won 9-1 and 5-1.
GHC broke open the first game with an eight-run first inning.
That was more than enough for winning pitcher, Hayden Joyner, who allowed just one earned run on three hits and two walks in five innings.
In the second game, the Chargers built a 5-0 lead through the first 5-1/2 innings en route to a 5-1 win. Pitcher Grace Kendricks allowed just one, unearned run on four hits and no walks in her seven innings in the circle, Kendricks fanned three.
Chloe Fowler, Avery Fisher, and Ally Graden had four hits in the doubleheader for the Chargers. Fowler's hits included a homer and a double with four RBIs. Fisher's hits included two doubles, one home run, and three RBIs. Graden's hits resulted in two RBIs.
Haylee Dishmon (RBI) and Aliza Martinez (RBI) contributed two hits. Ansley Farmer (RBI), Cayden Warren, and Joyner added one hit.
Andrew College slipped to 3-24 overall and 0-2 in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association.
Georgia Highlands (6-19, 3-3) plays at Abraham Baldwin on Friday and they play at South Georgia State on Saturday.
