Lady Colonels suffer first loss

The Cass girls' basketball team suffered its first loss of the season Friday night at Model, falling to the Blue Devils 55-43.

Model (1-1) was led by August Betz with 14 points. Sadie Raughten scored 11. Olivia Woods was the top scorer for Cass with 15 points. Kiana McDaniel followed with 14. Mikaela Jackson finished with 12. Nevaeh Woods added two points for the Lady Colonels. Cass (4-1) travels to Clarkston next Saturday for a 5:30 p.m. tip with the Angoras.
