Lady Tigers collect a win at Sprayberry to finish at the .500 mark

The Adairsville softball team concluded its 2025 season Wednesday evening with a one-sided road win at Sprayberry.
Ashlyn Carlton produced three hits, including two doubles, a sacrifice fly, and one home run, as the Lady Tigers peppered the Yellow Jackets with 10 hits in five innings. Carlton was also the winning pitcher for Adairsville, working all five frames. She allowed just one hit and one walk, while striking out five. Sprayberry’s lone run was unearned.
Ansley Powell had two hits, including one triple and one RBI. Alivia Joslin also had two hits, including one double. Cadey Evans (double, two RBI), Annabelle Mitchell (two RBI), and Lily Roberts (double, RBI) chipped in one hit each.
Sprayberry finished the year with a 5-21 mark.
Adairsville finished 15-15 overall and was 5-13 in Region 7-3A.
