Lady Tigers fall to Oconee County in the second round

The Adairsville girls' soccer team was eliminated in the second round of the GHSA Class AAA playoffs Monday night in Watkinsville, falling to Oconee County 10-0.
The host Warriors raced to a 6-0 lead in the first half and closed out the contest in the second half with four more goals.
Oconee County improved to 15-4-1 on the season and advanced to the state quarterfinals on April 24 against the Pike County/Savannah Country Day winner.
The Lady Tigers have their season close with an 11-6 record.
