Lady Tigers halt losing skid with win Saturday at Gilmer

The Adairsville Lady Tigers snapped a five-game losing skid Saturday afternoon with a 42-27 non-region win at Gilmer in Elijay.

Adairsville led 15-4 after the opening eight minutes and held a 29-10 lead at halftime on their way to a 15-point victory.

Alissa Winters led the Lady Tigers with 14 points. Aliya McBryde followed with 11 and Addie Pearson added six in the win.

Aliza Chastain led the Lady Bobcats (2-14) with seven points.

Adairsville (9-8, 4-3) returns to Region 6-AAA action Tuesday night at Gordon Lee in a 6 p.m. start.
