Lady Tigers remain unbeaten in region play

The Adairsville girls stayed unbeaten in Region 6-AAA and won their ninth game of the season Thursday night with a 3-1 victory at Coahulla Creek.

The Lady Tigers took a 3-0 lead in the first half with two goals by Taylor Rhoades and a third goal by Gabi Becerra. Megan Hardin assisted on all three goals and the second goal by Rhoades was set up by a nice corner kick from Emma Collins.

Maddie Gossett played fullback for the first time this season and was recognized for her key plays in midfield during the Lady Tigers 3-1 win at Coahulla Creek.

Adairsville coach, David Sexauer, credited Maddie Gossett for her key play at fullback and Elle Causby for being able to neutralize the Lady Colts best player.


Adairsville (9-1, 4-0) will host region rival Ringgold Tuesday in Tiger Valley.





COAHULLA CREEK 10, ADAIRSVILLE BOYS 0

Coahulla Creek improved to 9-1-1 (3-0 in Regon 6-AAA) with their 10-0 win Thursday night over visiting Adairsville (0-9).
