Lady Tigers ride Hill's one-hitter to blank Whitefield Academy

Chloe Hill tossed a five-inning one-hitter Friday night, and the Lady Tigers scored nine runs on ten hits to blank visiting Whitefield Academy 9-0.
Hill allowed just one single and four walks. She struck out seven.
Lily Brookshire had two hits, including a solo home run. Hill also contributed two hits. Ansley Powell (double, three RBI), Sydney Satterfield (RBI), Madison Brookshire (RBI), Heidi Rickett (RBI), Paislee Rooks (double), and McKenzly Atkins each added one hit.
Adairsville (3-1) enters a busy week. The Tigers travel to Trion on Monday, host Ridgeland on Tuesday, visit Calhoun on Wednesday, and visit Northwest Whitfield on Thursday. All four games start at 5:30 p.m.
