Lady Tigers top Chattooga, 10-4

Adairsville softball took an 8-4 lead with seven runs in the third inning Monday evening en route to a 10-4 non-region victory over visiting Chattooga.
Ansley Powell and Maddie Baggett had three hits and two RBI each to pace the Lady Tigers’ attack. One of Baggett’s hits was a double.
Brie Patterson and Ashlynn Durden followed with two hits and one RBI. Taylor Evans (double, sac fly) and Adysen Garvey contributed one hit and two RBI. Riley Mounger added one hit for Adairsville.
Jordan Clay pitched all seven innings for the Tigers and struck out seven. She allowed four earned runs on six hits and five walks.
Chattooga dropped to a 10-13 mark.
Adairsville (15-13) wraps up the season on Thursday at Cass.
