Local athletes compete at GHSA Track & Field Championships in Carrollton and Albany

The 2024 GHSA State Track and Field Championships concluded on Saturday with plenty of local athletes earning points. The local highlights included the Cartersville boys' 4x800 meter relay team placing second in Class 5A and Kaitlyn Godwin of Cass placing in the 100-, 200-, and 400-meter sprints.
