Local high school track and field competitors qualify for this weekend's State Championship Meets
More than two dozen local track and field athletes will compete in the 2023 GHSA State Track and Field Championships this weekend following successful efforts at State Sectional Qualifying meets last weekend.
The qualifying competitors from Adairsville earned their spots last Saturday in Columbus and will advance to the Class AAA Championship Thursday through Saturday at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany.
The qualifying competitors from Cartersville, Cass, and Woodland qualified at Jefferson High School last weekend and will head to Kinnett Stadium in Columbus this Thursday through Saturday for the Class AAAAA Championship.
