Narrow losses for Adairsville volleyball in openers

The Adairsville High volleyball team opened the 2026 season on Thursday evening with two hard-fought losses, falling in three sets to host Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (26-28, 25-19, 13-15) and losing two tight sets with Murray County (23-25 and 21-25).
Senior Alexis Scott finished the night with 23 total kills and 10 digs. Junior setter Teaghan Myers finished with 36 assists and 9 digs, and sophomore Libero Nadelyn Dodson finished with 16 digs for the night and 5 serving aces.
The Lady Tigers (0-2) travel to Jasper on Monday to play Union County and host Pickens starting at 6 p.m.
