O'Neal tosses one-hitter, Tigers blank Murray County 8-0

Victoria O’Neal tossed a five-inning, one-hitter and struck out 12 as Adairsville softball blanked visiting Murray County Monday, 8-0.

Meanwhile, the Tigers’ offense scored in all four of its offensive frames. Sadye Johnson (solo home run), O’Neal (double, two RBIs), and Makayla Wadel (RBI) led Adairsville with two hits each. Taylor Rhoades (2 RBIs) and Chloe Souders (RBI) added one hit apiece. Murray County falls to 4-14 overall and 3-11 in Region 6-AAA. Adairsville (12-9, 6-8) closes out the home schedule Tuesday against Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe and Thursday against Sonoraville.
