Cartersville High School rising senior Bodie Brumlow finished runner-up in an elite field this past weekend at the American Junior Golf Association Team TaylorMade Invitational in Belleair, Florida.
Fresh off leading his high school team to GHSA Class 4A back-to-back state titles, Brumlow carded rounds of 61-67-72 (10-under par) to finish three shots back of tournament winner Luke Ringkamp (Palm Desert, California) on Friday through Sunday at the 6,879-yard, par-70 Pelican Golf Club.
Brumlow’s opening round 61 set a new course record at the Pelican Golf Club, breaking the previous record of 7-under-par 63. The round also established a new AJGA 18-hole invitational scoring record.

On Saturday, Brumlow followed his record-setting round with a three-under-par 67, but his struggles on Sunday included consecutive bad holes — a double-bogey and a triple-bogey — that caused him to lose his lead. He responded with two late birdies, but Ringkamp's impressive 64 was too much to catch on the final day.
Ringcamp, a 2026 grad and Pepperdine commit, began the tournament as the No. 4-ranked player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. His 13-under par total included rounds of 65, 68, and a final round of 64.
Giuseppe Puchl (Royal Palm Beach, Florida) finished in third place, two shots behind Brumlow. Landon Ashcraft (Scottsdale, Arizona) and Miles Russell (Jacksonville, Florida) were another shot back and tied for fourth.
Brumlow began the event as the No. 94 player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. It was his third AJGA tournament (two in 2025), and he now has top-5 finishes in all of them.
