Rockmart pitchers combine for no-hitter at Woodland

Three Rockmart pitchers combined for a no-hit, perfect game Monday evening as the Yellow Jackets won at Woodland, 11-0, in five innings. LSU commit Ty Floyd went the first three innings for Rockmart (1-0) and struck out all nine batters faced. Javin Whatley fanned two in the fourth inning and senior Brayden Cole struck out the side in the fifth inning enabling the trio of hurlers to face the minimum. Woodland starter Phoenix Cramer (2.1 IP, 8ER, 8H, 2BB, 1K) suffered the pitching loss. Trevor Collum (1 IP, 3ER, 3H, 2BB, 1K) and Drew Billings (1.2 IP, 0R, 0H, 2K) also took the mound for the Wildcats.
