Short-handed Woodland volleyball drops road matches
Short-handed Woodland volleyball lost a pair of matches Tuesday night at Coahulla Creek, falling to Rome 25-15, 25-13 and the host Colts 25-20 and 25-20.
The Lady Cats entered the night missing three players to quarantine protocol and then had starting setter, Kendall Condon, go down with a knee injury.
Delaney Tuplin had four kills, three digs, two blocks, and an ace in the loss to Rome. Lili Womack followed with three digs and one service ace. Kailynn Mullinax contributed four assists and one dig.
In the loss to Coahulla Creek, Anastyn Jones finished with two kills and four digs. Tuplin had five kills and two digs. Mullinax totaled seven assists, two kills, and one ace. Rylan Martinak added four digs, two aces, and one assist.
Woodland (2-6) hosts Cedartown and Cass Thursday starting at 5 p.m.
