Tigers, Lady Tigers add region wins

Both Adairsville High basketball teams defeated visiting Coahuila Creek Tuesday night with the Lady Tigers winning 58-47 and the Tigers earning a 56-38 win.
ADAIRSVILLE GIRLS 58, COAHULLA CREEK 47
Analee Morris, Naxyria Roberts, and Aliya McBryde reached double figures in scoring Tuesday night with 19, 11, and 10 points, respectively, as the Lady Tigers improved to 3-1 in Region 6-AAA games.
The Lady Tigers and Lady Colts were tied 25-25 at halftime. Adairsville led 39-36 at the end of the third quarter and extended that lead in the fourth quarter for an 11-point victory.
Darby Adams scored seven points for Adairsville. Alissa Williams pitched in five points. Addie Pearson scored four and Zariyah Hicks added two for the Lady Tigers.
Shea Poe led the Lady Colts (6-2, 3-1) with 15 points.
The Adairsville girls (7-1, 4-0) host Sonoraville Friday at 7 p.m.
ADAIRSVILLE BOYS 56, COAHULLA CREEK 38
The Adairsville Tigers improved to 5-2 on the season and remained unbeaten at 4-0 in region play Tuesday night with a 56-38 home win over Coahuila Creek.
The Colts slipped to 2-6 overall and 2-2 in Region 6-AAA.

The Tigers entertain Sonoraville Friday night at 8:30 p.m.
