Class 3A No. 1-ranked Heritage-Catoosa shutout host Adairsville on Wednesday 6-0.
The Lady Generals built a 5-0 advantage through the first three innings and added an insurance run in the fifth.
Jordan Clay (7IP, 6ER, 13H, 2BB, 1K) suffered the pitching loss for Adairsville.
Taylor Evans had two hits for the Tigers. Ashlynn Durden (double) and Alivia Joslin added one hit.
Heritage improved to 24-1 overall and 17-0 in Region 7-AAA.
Adairsville (13-13, 5-12) hosts Northwest Whitfield on Thursday at 5:55 p.m.
