Wildcats defeat Cherokee

The Woodland wrestling team defeated visiting Cherokee last Friday night, 53-15.

Winners for Woodland included: Amari Kinnamore (106), Ayden Buchanon (113), Paul Lanier (132), Zach Wallace (150), Christian Cothran (157), Jovante Luke (165), Johnathan Olvera (175), and Champ Higdon (215).

Seven of the eight wins were by pin.

Woodland heads to Kissimmee, Florida for the Knockout Classic Wednesday and Thursday.
