Wildcats fall to visiting Bucs
The Woodland Wildcats dropped their first game of the new year Thursday night at home, falling to Allatoona 73-35. The visiting Buccaneers led 15-10 after one quarter and 31-22 at halftime before distancing themselves in the second half. Allatoona (8-5) led 56-31 heading into the final eight minutes.
Jayden Hames scored 15 points to lead the Wildcats (4-7). K.J. Rogers finished with 14 points for Woodland. Woodland hosts Unity Christian of Rome Friday night with the girls game set to tip at 6 p.m.
