Woodland girls fall at Heritage-Catoosa
The Woodland girls soccer team lost a non-region game at Heritage-Catoosa Monday night, 3-1.
The Lady Generals opened the scoring in the 14th minute and added a second goal before the intermission to lead 2-0 at halftime.
Heritage added to their lead with a goal in the second half, but Woodland’s Hayley Gilbert scored with 2:27 remaining in the game to help the Lady Cats avoid the shutout.
Khloe Ravish and Abbi Duncan shared duties in net for Woodland and both made multiple saves.
The Lady Cats (4-8-1) return to the pitch Tuesday at South Paulding for a 5:30 start.
