Woodland soccer teams conclude 2025 campaigns

The Woodland High School soccer teams concluded regular season play on Friday with narrow losses at Bremen.
The Lady Cats lost 3-0, and the Wildcats were defeated on penalty kicks after a scoreless draw in regulation time.
In the girls’ match, the host Blue Devils scored in the 24th minute to lead 1-0 at halftime. Bremen added second-half goals in the 47th and 49th minutes for the deciding score.
The boys’ match was scoreless in regulation, so the teams went to penalty kicks.
Bremen converted all five PKs, and the Wildcats converted the first four, but a fifth shot hit the right-side post, handing the Blue Devils the non-region win.
Woodland finished the 2025 campaign with a 5-12 record.
