Woodland splits two matches; Adairsville falls at Sonoraville

Woodland volleyball split a pair of matches at Cedartown Thursday night.

The Lady Cats lost to the host Bulldogs 14-25, 13-25 but defeated Paulding County, 25-17, 25-19.

Kendall Condon totaled 13 assists, 13 digs, and five kills in the two matches. Anastyn Jones finished with 10 digs, four kills, and three aces. Lili Womack had 13 digs, six assists, and four aces. Megan Schultz contributed six kills and five digs. Kiera Pedigo added five kills.

On Tuesday, Woodland (11-20, 2-2) plays at home against 5th-ranked Dalton and Carrollton.

TIGERS FALL AT SONORAVILLE

Adairsville dropped a best-of-five match at Sonoraville Thursday night in straight sets, 25-20, 25-10, and 25-18.

Addie Pearson had eight assists and four kills for the Tigers. Jordan Hartline and Jayna Wilson both contributed five kills. Makenzie Harris finished with four kills while Sherry Wells added 17 digs.
