Woodland swim team wins tri-meet with Cartersville and Cass

The Woodland High School swim team won a tri-meet Tuesday evening at the Adairsville High pool, with Cartersville finishing runner-up and Cass third.

The Woodland boys scored 105 points, and the Lady Cats scored 102 of the winning 207 total. The Cartersville girls (93) and Cartersville boys (89) totaled 182. The Cass boys scored 38 points, and the Lady Colonels scored 36 of their 74 points.

Woodland will participate in the Adairsville High Whoville Classic on Saturday. Cass will compete at the Darlington Invitational on Saturday, and Cartersville is scheduled to swim in a meet at Rome next Tuesday.
