Woodland tennis split matches with South Paulding

The Woodland High School tennis teams opened their 2024 season this past Thursday and split matches with South Paulding.
The Wildcats won 3-2 with Peter Heins picking up a Line 1 singles win, Domenic Ciavarro won on Line 3 singles and the Line 1 doubles pair — Jack Gore and Kaiden Holbrook — also collected a victory.
The Lady Cats fell by a 4-1 decision. The Woodland win was at Line 2 singles by Kathryn Kovacic, 3-6, 7-6, 10-5.
Woodland returns to action on Tuesday at Rome High School.
