Woodland track & field competes at Rockmart Friday Night Lights

The Woodland High School boys’ track & field team placed third, and the Lady Cats were fourth on Friday at the six-team Rockmart Friday Night Lights.
The Wildcats (126.50 points) finished behind New Manchester (148) and host Rockmart (140). Douglas County (126.50), Bremen (114), and Haralson County (25) rounded out the boys’ teams.
Douglas County (172) won the girls’ meet, followed by Bremen (152), Rockmart (141.50), Woodland (132.50), and Haralson County (52).

Girls 4x800 meter relay — 11:00.14 (Rylee Maxwell, Cathryn Sneed, Allison Snead, Addison Brown)
Girls 4x400 meter relay — 4:25.31 (Rylee Maxwell, Rowe Gentry, Madysen Grano, Ja’zavia Bryan)
Rowen Lee — 400-meter dash — 51.27
Ja’zavia Bryan — 200-meter dash — 27.35
Rylee Maxwell — 3200 meter run — 12:28.74
Jonathan Ringwell — 3200 meter run — 10:40.97
Woodland’s next meet is at Pepperell High School on March 20 with the host Dragons, Pickens, and Haralson County.
