Woodland volleyball drops tight matches

Woodland volleyball battled but came up short in matches on Tuesday at Paulding County.
The Lady Cats lost to Cedartown 17-25, 20-25, and fell to the host Lady Patriots 21-25 and 19-25.
“We played really hard this evening,” said coach David Condon. “We are continuing to improve.”
Alex Williams totaled four digs, three aces, and two blocks in the matches. Emily Guin contributed four aces and four digs. Bella King had five kills and two blocks, and Karisma Torres added three kills and two blocks.
Woodland (6-14, 0-3) hosts Villa Rica and Southeast Whitfield on Thursday at 5 p.m.
