Woodland wrestling third at Cleveland Duals
December 14, 2025 Woodland wrestling placed third on Saturday at the Al Miller Cleveland Duals hosted by Cleveland High School (TN). Woodland had wins over Carrollton 51-21, Mountain View (AL) 53-15, and Summit (TN) 45-21 in Pool B. The Wildcats lost to Blackman (TN) 42-30 in the preliminary rounds. Woodland defeated Thompson (AL) 38-35 for third place. John Gill (215, 5-0), Nathan Cates (150, 5-0), and Owen Jones (190, 5-0) went unbeaten in the tournament for the Wildcats.

December 10, 2025 The Cass High School swim team placed second in combined scores Tuesday night as the Colonels hosted a six-team event at the Adairsville High School facility.
