Rosario named wrestling assistant at Life University
Former Cass High School wrestling standout and Cumberland University All-American, Sammy Rosario, has been named assistant wrestling coach at Life University.
Head Men's Wrestling Coach Omi Acosta rounded out his 2017-18 coaching staff with announcement of Rosario.
A three-time state qualifier at Cass, Rosario has a long list of accomplishments as a wrestler. He was a three-time national qualifier at Cumberland University, where he was a 2017 All-American and finished sixth at the NAIA National Championships.
In high school, Rosario had two top-4 finishes and one top-3 finish.
Rosario holds a bachelor's degree from Cumberland University.
Life University is located in Marietta, GA and is a member of the NAIA’s Mid-South Conference.
