Canes up to 4th in AJC boys basketball rankings

The Cartersville High School boys basketball team has been ranked in the Top Ten of two Georgia High School Association polls this week.


The Canes (12-2) are ranked fourth in Class AAAA by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and seventh by SandysSpiel.com in polls released Sunday.


Ranked teams in regions including local Bartow County schools are the Villa Rica girls and boys in Class AAAAA; the Sandy Creek boys in Class AAAA; the girls teams from Haralson County, Sonoraville, and North Murray in Class AAA; plus the Carrollton, and Rome girls in Class AAAAA.
