8U youth basketball team wins Teammate Basketball national tourney

The Georgia Grizzlies 8U basketball team based out of Cartersville captured first place in the Teammate Basketball National Championship this past weekend in Pigeon Forge, TN. The program’s 14U team also placed second in their consolation division of the tournament.

The Georgia Grizzlies travel program, coached by Nic Tyler and Emmanuel Holloway, also had a 9U team participating in the tournament.
