Cartersville High gymnastics team hosts second of three home meets this season
The Cartersville High School gymnastics team hosted their second meet of the season Saturday at the Twisters Gymnastics Center.
The meet was won by Cambridge High School with 105.9 points.
Cartersville senior Annaston Wilson had a fourth place all around in Class 5A and under and was fourth for floor exercise with a score of 8.7.
Canes’ junior Karley Garrison placed third in all-around among all competitors and was second all around in the Class 5A and under division. Garrison was third in floor, beam, and vault with scores of 8.8, 8.7, and 9.2. She was also first in bars with an 8.6 in the 5A division. She now has a second all around state qualifying score along with event qualifying scores in vault, beam, and bar.
The Cartersville team will host another home meet Saturday, March 25.
