Lady Cats blanked by Kennesaw Mountain

The Woodland girls soccer team lost a home game with Kennesaw Mountain Friday night, 10-0, but coach Nicole Heiser found some positives from her Lady Cats' performance. "The girls worked hard and kept the game scoreless for the first 15 minutes," said Heiser. "I'm proud of them for not giving up when they easily could have. Kennesaw Mountain has a very strong team. The results may not show it, but the girls were persistent and determined throughout the game."

The loss evened the Woodland girls record to 2-2-1 for the season.

The Lady Cats play at Northwest Whitfield on Tuesday.
