The Lady Colonels totaled 11 hits and scored 6 runs in the third and fifth innings Monday night, winning 12-2 in five innings at Calhoun.
Kylie Gentry picked up the Cass pitching win. She went all five innings in the circle, allowing two earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out seven.
Natalie Hughes (RBI), Lindsey Chubb (double), and Rilyn Caspari each had two hits for Cass. Shyia Woods homered and drove in three runs. Abagail Nails (double, two RBI), Maci Walker (RBI), Kharmyn Collum (RBI), and Gentry each added one hit.
Calhoun dropped to 8-13.
Cass (13-9, 8-6 Region 7-5A) hosts Cedartown on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and plays at Woodland on Thursday at 5:55 p.m.
