Two weeks after it was originally reported by ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with Vic Beasley on Tuesday.

A former first-round pick, Beasley inked a one-year, $9.5 million deal with the two-tone blue Titans that includes incentives that could reach $12 million.

The 27-year-old Adairsville native joins the AFC club after spending his first five NFL seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. As a rookie in 2015, Beasley recorded his first career sack and in his second pro season he led the NFL with 15.5 sacks. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl, was named First Team All-Pro, and helped lead the Falcons to Super Bowl LI.

After seeing a drop off in production in 2017 and 2018, the two-time Clemson All-American totaled eight sacks in 2019. At the conclusion of the season, the Falcons announced they would not re-sign him and Beasley became an unrestricted free agent on March 18.

In his five-year NFL career, Beasley has 37.5 sacks and 156 tackles. He has forced 11 fumbles and recovered 12. He has one interception and ten passes defended to his credit. He has appeared in 78 games and started 60.
