The Cartersville girls topped Woodstock for their tenth win of the season, but the Canes fell to Rome after rallying from a double-digit deficit in the second half.

“We came out flat in the first half,” said Cass coach Kevin Cunningham. “We fought all the way back and had a two-point lead late, but couldn’t finish. We will get ready and work on some things for Tuesday. It’s hard to win when you shoot 11 for 22 from the free-throw line in a close game.”
Eli Pearson scored 19 points to lead the Tigers. Dredyn Bautista finished with 10, and Brooks Rutledge added nine for Adairsville.
Isaiah Moreno scored a game-high 23 points for the Colonels. Cam’ron Beauford and Ontario Crenshow each chipped in five.
